Intention
La volonté de la «Festa del Grafisme» de reconsidérer le graphisme comme outil a part entière, sincère, sensible, a la fois raisonné et spontané, nous amène a nous pencher sur les cartes de visite en tant que support petit et quotidien, récipiendaire inattendu de quelques joyeuses surprises. C’est pour cela que nous souhaitons collecter un ensemble de cartes de visite, dont l’intérêt peut s’inscrire dans un des champs suivants :

valeur vernaculaire, spontané ou absence de design

valeur non-Occidentale

importance ou signification en terme de design ou comme carte en elle même

valeur historique

Proposal
The intention of the «Festa de Grafisme» of resuming the graphism as a close, plain, sincere, sensitive, thought as well as spontaneous tool, makes us interest for the visiting cards, small and daily support, unexpected container of some wonder. That’s why we want to gather a pretty amount of visiting cards, commercial cards, which are interesting for anyone of the following aspects:

For the originality of the design

For the capacity to imagine the future of the card.

For its vernacular, spontaneous value or its lack of design.
d
For its non western value.
e
For its importance or signification as a design or as a card in itself.
f
For its importance or historical signification

Appel à participation
Pour participer à l’exposition, toutes les personnes intéressées, graphistes ou non, sont invitées a nous faire parvenir des cartes de visite répondant aux critères ci-dessus. Seules les cartes imprimées ou produites dans des conditions réelles d’utilisation seront admises. Envoyez autant d’exemplaires que nécessaires pour pouvoir en montrer toutes les faces (condition non-excluante). Si vous possédez une collection et que vous désirez la montrer (toute où en partie), merci de prendre directement contact avec nous à redcard@festadelgrafisme.org.

Call entry
We summons graphic artists and other interested persons in sending cards, according to the mentioned proposal, to be part of the «Targeta roja» exhibition. It is required to send cards that have been printed or produced, in the system or support real of their use. Each card requires as many copies as sides or significant pages it has (non excluding condition). If you have a collection and you are interested to show it, completely or partly, contact us in redcard@festadelgrafisme.org.

Il est nécessaire que chaque pièce soit accompagnée des données suivantes :
– Prénom et nom de l'expéditeur*
– Adresse postal complète*
– Courriel de contact*
– Téléphone
– Activitée du titulaire de la carte (si celle-ci n'y figure pas)*
– Année du design (approx.)*
– Pays de la carte (si ce-ci n'y figure pas ou si on ne le comprend pas)*
– Prénom et nom du/de la graphiste, ou de l'atelier de design, de la carte (si on le connait)*
– Ville et/ou pays d'activité du/de la graphistei/o país de l'activitat del dissenyador/a (si on le connait)
– Quelque característique remarcable

Vos coordonnées personnelles ne seront utilisées que dans le cadre de la Festa del Grafisme.

Sending
It is necessary to accompany every card with the following data:
– Name and surname of the sender*
– Full postal address*
– E-mail for contact*
– Phone
– Activity of the holder of the card (if isn’t evident on the card)*
– Year of design (approx.)*
– Country of the card (if isn’t evident on the card or if the language is not understanted)*
– Name and surname of the card's designer, or the design studio (if it is known)*
– City and/or country of designer activity (if it is known)
– Any outstanding characteristic

The particular data will only be used for subjects related to the Festa del Grafisme.

Date buttoire d’envoi
Jusqu’au 12 Septembre 2008 inclus. Assurez-vous que les cartes nous parviennent à temps. Faites attention aux déficients services de poste en été.

Deadline
Until the 12th September of 2008 included. Be aware of deficient postal service in summer. Manage it to send the work to us in time.
