Un mash-up est une application web qui utilise les informations des services Internet ouvert comme Flickr, YouTube, Google Maps, Facebook, Amazon ou blogs en général, entre autres, pour recombiner les données que vous fournissez et créer des applications nouvelles. |
A mash-up is a web application that uses information from the open internet services like Flickr, YouTube, Google Maps, Facebook, Amazon or blogs in general, among others, recombining the data you provide to create new applications. The vast amount of information dumped on the network for users of these services and the possibility of reuse that it offers us through their APIs, opens a field of artistic experimentation in many directions, many of them still undiscovered. In this field, therefore there is great creative potential, which may be of interest to new media artists. The talk will begin with some theoretical concepts, moving to focus on the show of examples and practical knowledge about the tools that offer APIs. Anna Fuster is a graphic designer. Daniel Julià is a new media content and software engineer. They are engaged in the conceptualization, design and development of interactive projects at pimpampum.net and university teaching.
